Appearance;; Hale is a handsome guy, but not overly so. He doesn't try to milk his looks, either. He is decently tall, standing just over 6'. He is lean and muscular, but not too noticeably. He has dark brown hair with a bit of a wave to it, usually left quite messily. In the summer, his hair takes on natural highlighting, lighter and hinting at blonde bits in there. He has rather thick eyebrows over intense, dark eyes. He has a strong jawline and has a tendency not to shave every day, so he usually has a bit of stubble, especially when they haven't stayed in a hotel for a few days. He prefers to wear simple jeans and graphic t-shirts, even if they appear a little questionable for ranch work.

Personality;; Hale, like his sister, is one of those people with a lot of energy. When he is in a good mood, that is what seems to take over. He becomes goofy and playful, and occasionally flirts with the women around his age. It rarely is more than him being silly. He doesn't expect to fall for anyone anyway. He is rather protective over his younger sister and doesn't like the idea of her dating anyone, even though she is more than capable of taking care of herself. Hale is a smart guy and is great at improvising when something unexpected happens, as well as just turning situations to his favor. He doesn't trust too many people with his secrets and doesn't like change. He has a temper, but it takes a lot to set it off, and he's more likely to completely shut down and stop talking, and silently stew over his problems, than to get into some sort of fight.

History;; Hale was born and raised in West Virginia for the first sixteen years of his life before moving to Southern California. He still retains a slight southern accent, but it isn't very prevalent. City life was far different than his previous country life and he found he missed the relative quiet of it all. Once he graduated high school and had put a few years of community college behind him, he moved back out to the country, finding work at ranches until he wound up at his current place. Hale has been around horses for much of his life, though he didn't own one personally until he was twenty-five years old, when he took on ownership of Six. With the help of some trainers, Hale shaped his patient gelding into an all-rounder horse, where he's able to ride Western or English. Hale hasn't decided yet if he'd like to compete with Six, but knows that with proper training, there are many doors open for the two of them.

Appearance;; Six is a gorgeous, big boy. Standing at 16.3hh at the withers, he appears quite massive. He has a relatively sleek look despite his muscular body, and a neat, chiseled head, with ever so slightly too-large ears that are always pricked forward. He has a dark bay coat with typical lighter coloring closer to his belly. Typical of a bay, he has black points on his legs, reaching up to his knees, as well as a black mane and tail. He has no white markings, except for a tiny, faint, or spot of just a few white hairs on his forehead. He has the lip tattoo common among racehorses, though this is only visible if he does a Flehman response or one is to pull at his lip.

Personality;; Six has quite obviously been raised up around people that have children and who visit frequently. The gelding is very well-behaved around them and doesn't mind fingers poking, prodding, and pulling at him. In fact, he seems to love the attention. He is insanely patient with everyone, and seems to enjoy working hard to please his rider. Six is quite friendly and affectionate, and will buddy up with anyone willing to rub at his neck or scratch his ears for an hour. Six has a quiet dignity about him, and is only rarely seen goofing off. If he's seen rolling out in the field or bucking like a colt in spring, he'll immediately stop and sheepishly hide, as if embarrassed to be seen doing anything less than majestic.

History;; Six was born as a ridgling (one undescended testicle) and was gelded as he would be unlikely to breed as a result. His own damn rejected him at birth, so he was raised by a nurse mare. As a yearling, he was auctioned off and purchased for a respectable $125,000 at Keenland's Yearling auction, before he was put into training to become a racehorse. Over the span of five years, he proved to be quite successful, winning quite a few GI stakes races. Had he not been a gelding, he likely would have met with decent success in the breeding shed, but it wasn't meant to be. As a result, he was retired and sent to auction instead. He passed around a few places before arriving at the ranch, where he was trained in both Western and English to be an all-rounder horse. With his fair temperament and unending patience, coupled with his intelligence and quiet dignity, Six has thrived in the environment and works well with Hale.

Hayden Tac a twenty year old male who works at the stables, and has his own horse named Hank, an American thoroughbred, and is just a caretaker for the horses.

Daniella Salvatore, a twenty year old female, who crashed her car
while she was alone, fracturing her tibia bone in her left leg.
She can walk without a cane, but will if she starts limping,
or if she feels too much pressure on her leg. She gets
plenty of stares from hobbling around with a cane, and
her thought was to dye it blue. Not the best color, but at least

it gave people a reason to stare when she was out.
Daniella isn't used to the leg questions, and often, she will turn
snarky and answer sarcastically, or storm off with a boiling
temper. Normally, she's bitter and has a sarcastic word at

every corner, and can be seen hitting someone with her

cane, or yelling with tears. Before, she wasn't as sensitive

or frustrated, but at almost every time she does something,

it ends into swearing and her leaving, or breaking into tears

from her leg pain. Daniella doesn't know how to become the

person she was before, and she thinks its hard. To be the nice

girl who was proper.. now she was just someone who swore and

couldn't even stand five minutes without her cane. She didn't

have a savage temper and a bad mouth. But of course, as someone

like her, her parents were sympathetic, and signed her up for horse

riding and they hoped it would help her and calm her down, and make

her nicer.

The horse she was assigned to. Spritz, an Arabian and Quarter horse cross, at the
age of nineteen. A bit unruly and wiry, he has speed. Quick as a whip, and
ready to run. On some occasions you have to run him around in the corral
to get his energy out before you ride him. Even then he's energetic. He's not too

stubborn, and ready to go. Unless, he spots a nice patch of grass, or a mud puddle.

You're doomed.

The gravel stirred up, and a short, rinky-dink rusty car pulled into the dirt lot, where it creaked and squealed, pulling to a stop. The feelings of anger and panic were apparent, and Dani's head thumped against the seat, as she exhaled. "Why the fuck am I here?" She asked herself, yet it was quite obvious. Her parents had been scared for her welfare, and sent her to try and get her leg stronger, and get herself back on track. Yet how Dani saw it, her parents were sick of her lounging about the house.

Opening the door, she reached at the edge of the door and pulled herself out, leaning against the door with a frustrated grunt. She hadn't drove in ages, and usually, she piled in the back. As she retracted her good leg, it slid out easily, yet Dani moved to the side and slammed the door shut as it creaked. Grabbing the back door open, she reached to grab her metal cane, and leaned it against the ground, shutting the door again.

Hobbling towards the stables, Dani smelt hay, and horses, the strong smell. There was a high whistle and humming, and a man stepped back from the stables with a broom, and Dani stood in the middle oddly. He turned, still whistling, but stopped once he saw the odd sight. A girl, not hunched but gripping a metal cane, and her right leg wavering from most of her body weight. She had bright blue hair that faded, faded to a dark black at the ends from bad coloring, and she did not look pleased. "Can I help you?" He asked.

"If you could get me out of this shitty place that'd be great."

"Don't know where you came from. Lost?"

"I wish. I am signed up for riding or something."

"Salvatore Yep!" The man turned around straight across and picked up a clipboard, his eyes scanning it thickly. He set it back down with a large smile spread across his face with a cheeky look. "You're on Spritz." He gestured her to come, and she followed hesitantly, glancing around the stables oddly. Horses peeked their heads out and eyed them, often sniffing at her and reaching their necks out, but Dani ducked away from them.

They reached one of the middle stables, and he pulled open the gate. "Uh.. I'm Hayden, by the way." He reached out to shake, but Dani looked at his hand skeptically. "D-Daniella. Just Dani." It seemed as if she had challenged him to call her by her full name, but he didn't question it. "Well, this is Spritz. Hollar if you need help. There are plenty." With that, he took off.

"Hey.. Spritz." She mumbled, reaching out her hand and shifting her weight onto her bad leg. Spritz seemed to be calm, and the horse reached forward and sniffed her hand. Dani pulled back, but Spritz seemed keen to get a pat, so he stepped forward, pushing her backwards and out of the stable, and stepped a few steps into the hall. "Damn it horse."

"Uh.. help? Crazy horse won't listen to me.."
