[name] eve royama
[nickname] one cannot possibly shorten the name eve to anything shorter than it is.
[age] twenty-one years of age
[gender] female
[hair] eve's hair is long with natural waves throughout. her hair is of medium color and extraordinarily soft to the touch. she most always keeps her hair down, finding no use for putting it up.
[eyes] her eyes are a piercing blue color that can almost be described as startling. Her eyes flick from being full of emotion, to be void of any
[skin] her skin is quite pale, a creamy white color. she doesn't tan easily, but it's not like it matters considering her occupation as a vampire hunter.
[build] she is rather short in height (bordering 5'3), and is slender and lithe in bodily build.
[personality] eve is faintly charismatic in a mysterious sort of way. she seems to enjoy games quite a bit, and is very good at baffling other people with her own sarcasm and quirks. she enjoys stories and often spins some of her own to take up any free time she might have, finding the fictional universe to be highly enthralling. people tend to think she's gloomy or a bad influence as a first impression, a misconception that is unexplained. when she's inquired about it before, they normally blame it on some sort of aura that they get from her. this, in turn, confuses her, but eve doesn't seem to have a problem with it either. people will think what they want, and she understands that. as such, eve has an interest in the light and dark of people, as well as all the shades of gray in between. she likes figuring out what makes an individual tick, what makes them happy. she finds the varying personalities of people to be intriguing, and she normally runs several sort of silent tests (doing this, saying that), just to see how the other will react. this is how she learns.
as a hunter, eve is observant, if not a little care-free. she holds her own personal well-being at an arm's length and does many reckless things. she obtains the ends by unusual means, which is one of the reasons why she is shunned as a vampire hunter by the others who have grouped together to form a sort of pack. eve is the wolf who was exiled - but she doesn't seem to mind that either. she does dangerous things, things that a normal hunter might not think to do. again, she enjoys testing the waters and trying out new things that might work just as well as some other method that has already been made concrete in the hunter ways. she just doesn't like being bored, and often finds ways to entertain herself. if she's bored, then she'll be left to dwell within her own mind (not that she doesn't do that enough), and sometimes that leaves her troubled and with nightmares to keep her awake.
[likes] nighttime, rain, stories, personalities, games, star-gazing, art;
-as if to no surprise, eve spends much of her time awake during the night and sleeping during the day. as a hunter, she has to assimilate her schedule to that of a vampire's. and since she had spent many a night completely awake, eve has grown a fascination and an appreciation for the night sky - which she finds far more interesting than the drab, daytime sky.
-rain is a lovely thing to her, and if she could have a continuous drizzling rain, eve would be happy. the rain just adds more to the scenery, and she likes the way it sounds. storms are especially nice in her opinion.
-though she is just as good as making up her own, eve also likes reading stories out of books, or even having someone tell her stories. whether these stories are made-up, or perhaps true, she doesn't mind. she enjoys seeing how far the imagination can stretch.
-as stated before, eve finds the differences of the personalities of individuals to be highly interesting, and she enjoys picking them apart.
-games are a way to kill time, and that doesn't mean board games. eve starts all sorts of games, though perhaps not the ordinary kinds of games the average person is used to. from playing tag or hide-and-seek with vampires (the vampires see it more of a chase than a game, normally), to weaving her own intricate path full of riddles for other people to figure out, eve enjoys games.
-the stars are what make the night sky so alluring to the visual senses - that and the wide range of colors present in the night sky. eve likes to just lay back on the roof of her house and watch the stars whenever she has the free time to do so.
-art is another form of imagination-stretching that she likes to participate in. from the time she was little, eve has always had some sketchbook with pages half full of drawing. now, she is much better than her crayon and felt marker days, using drawing pencils and graphite, paint and watercolors to express what's in her mind. she's become rather good at it, and still enjoys art with the passion of her childhood days.
[dislikes] close-minded people, the daytime sky, being restrained, hot days;
-people who cannot step outside their little circle, who refuse to explore and see how far their imagination can take them, really irritate eve. she doesn't see the point to confining oneself to a set limit, to a little box of your own creation.
-the daytime sky has always been very... bland to her. it always looks the same, though perhaps with the addition of clouds. the different light blues that the daytime sky can take on are certainly interesting, but the only time that eve truly enjoys the day is when the rain is falling.
-mentally or physically, she doesn't like being told she can't do something, that she isn't allowed to do what she wants to do. she also doesn't like having to remain in the same four walls for too long, and often enjoys going on walks and things like that. so if you've never seen what a caged wolf looks like before, just make eve stay put for longer than she wants.
-she prefers chilly days, days where a jacket is needed, over the warm and hot days. she dislikes summer and the latter part of spring a lot, and prefers the cooler months to the warmer.
[history] this is not something eve will talk about to just anyone, but it should be known that every vampire hunter has a reason for becoming what they are. eve's is more of a hereditary occupation.

Hunting vampires always proved to be a process that resembled a game of hide-and-seek, a game that only Eve was aware was being played. The vampires seemed to view more as an actual hunt, but that always put so much stress and severity on the matter, that Eve just didn't find it appealing. So she viewed this as a game, a challenge for herself. Where could she find the vampires? How many could she find in a night? If she found any, could she catch them, and how long would it take her to do so? Normally, finding vampires was pretty difficult, so even if she just found one, then it could be considered a good game. She had seldom run into vampires in groups, and when she had it normally ended rather badly for both parties involved. She ended up battered more than she might have liked, and several vampires were walking away wounded. When dealing with groups of vampires, Eve focused more on maiming them as much as she could, rather than actually catching them. She could possibly kill one or two, but when there were several vampires swarming around her singular self, things became difficult. Eve could handle herself remarkably well in these situations, but perhaps she was too lenient, too apathetic towards her own well-being. She was trained on the game, and not getting out alive. Perhaps she thought this way because Eve figured that factoring in the physical well-being of herself would only dull the game, take away the run of the risk. Honestly, everyone knew a vampire hunter was going to deal with some nasty pains eventually, so what was the point in acting as if she had a choice in the matter? The objective was simply to kill off as many vampires as you could before your own death came creeping up on you. Maybe it wasn't a game of hide-and-seek after all, but instead a race, a game to beat the clock before the final hour.

Around the city was a forest, relatively dense, and was a good place to go if a person wanted to get away for the day. At night, however, the place could be susceptible to visits by vampires, thus making it dangerous for any oblivious human to go. Nevertheless, this didn't stop a surprising amount of people, which might have been why vampires enjoyed going to the forest from time to time. Right now, the night sky was visible, but the storm clouds threatened to drench the world in rain water. That in mind, Eve could assume that no humans would be out and about, but that didn't necessarily reign true for any vampires out there. So, since she wasn't having any luck in the interior of the city, Eve instead ventured out into the forest to search for some vampires to prey upon.
At her side was strapped two guns, both filled with wooden bullets; the belt she wore also held extra bullets in case that should become a need. Tucked away into her boots, hidden from sight, were four small daggers - blades blessed by a priest to cause damage to a vampire. As if she needed anything more, there was also a wooden stake attached to her belt as well. While the blessed blades would only harm a vampire, a wooden bullet or stake to the heart could prove fatal. The huntress, as unassuming as some might think her, was prepared to fight off any vampires that came out to play.
