The quaint town of "Hidden Hills" in Montana. It truly is Hidden to the plain eye, though the population flourishes well. It's simple. Everyone's simple. Nothing strange happens... or so they think. At the edge of Hidden Hills are a thicket of woods that last about seven miles. Everyone knows it belongs to a wolf pack, but only few know it belongs to a werewolf pack.
Humans stay on one side, wolves stay on the other.
It's called the Otherside.
How you get there is complicated. Only a wolfs heightened senses can, and it is a large stone slab with ruins carved in it. A wolf must slit its hand and drip blood over it, chanting. Then its all a blur. You're in the Otherside.
Life is simple there, slim and free, with not much technology or burdens of the internet. Nothing dramatic happens, everyone is in unison, and it seems like the perfect place. But really, there is a strict hierarchy. Human blood is seldom in the packs.
Both never cross. If the wolves do, its not that big of a problem. If the Humans do...
Well, that's been undetermined for now, since the portal is inaccessible to humans.
There are wolves on the other side, but unable to shift due to the weakness of the moon on the town side. The werewolf side is stronger. So that is why they can blend into the city. But technology is intriguing to them.
