Prince Guval Honarch nineteen years old male

main traits;
caring, polite, observant,
outspoken, short-tempered, judgmental,

Prince Guval Honarch, a commonly known name around his kingdom. His name is frequently brought up in conversations, ones in which range from praising him, to doubting him in leading the kingdom once he is wed. Wed. The sound of such is distasteful to Guval, even more so as his wife is to be arranged for him, not even giving him the chance to choose from his own heart. Once his father and mother had given him the dreadful news, Guval showed no hesitation in speaking out his dislike to the situation. He knew it was for the good of the kingdom, but what about the good of himself? Did his happiness even matter to his parents? Yes, they were great rules, and respectful leaders, though he greatly doubted them on this choice. He knew he could rule the kingdom on his own. He doesn't need a Queen by his side to do so, but obviously they do not think the same.

Over all, Guval is many things. He can be a kind, polite person at one moment, and then become a crude, harsh-worded thing the next. His mood usually depends on the people is is commonly around, for to his kingdom's peasants and lowers, he is kind, yet strict. With his parents, the Queen and King, he is respectful, but won't hesitate to speak his mind. With new, unfamiliar royals, Guval is polite and considerate, but will show his dislike towards something if needed.

Guval is a well grown male. He has a toned figure, with well developed muscles. He is agile and well fitted for speed. His hair is dark brown; as some see it as black oftenly. A common mistake usually made by those of his court and servants. His eyes are a deep, blazing green; resembling the wild life of a forest within himself. His skin is fairly tan, yet fairly pale at the same time.

- eighteen    - female    - princess

Annabeth is a kind soul, and would so anything if it meant the safety of her people;
though, she had hoped getting married would not be one of them. Annabeth is loving and
patient, and very understanding. She is trustworthy and honest, but can also be very
naive. She is reserved and quiet and always knows her place. She isn't one to test her
limits or take a leap of faith. It's hard for her to open up to you and can come off as rude,
though she doesn't intend it. It's just that she lacks a voice.

That is one of the main reason people view her as unfit to rule. People think that she
doesn't have the backbone to rule; that she can be easily take over. That is also one
of the reasons that her father had planned for her to be married off so young. Annabeth's
father is strict and seems distant, which he is. Annabeth and her father don't have a great
relationship and Annabeth's mother died giving birth, so her father is really all she has.

Annabeth is a proper princess, and always knows how to politely get out of situations.
Though it may not seem like it, but she is extremely smart. She know hows to read
someone and seems to always know what someone is thinking, good or bad. Annabeth
loves to read and will often wander into the forest to do so. She loves the outdoors and
hates being inside often. Though princesses are not suppose to ride horses often,
Annabeth loves to do so. She is not one for breaking rules for fear of what her dad might
say. She has been through proper training for years and mustn't ever mess up. Though,
she is purposely defying her father and refuses to fall for this prince. She wants a say
in her life and this is the only way she knows how to get it.

The prince had found himself concentrating hard on the book in front of him. It was old, very old, with pages that made him fear would crumble under his touch. Sighing, Guval brought his hand to his face, rubbing his eyes. He had spent most the morning looking through the history of his kingdom, to maybe, just maybe, find a way out of his arranged marriage. Surely those in past had to be forced into marriage, and surely, one of them got out of it? Closing the book in frustration, Guval then walked it back to the shelf, his thoughts racing. He knew the princess of the other kingdom was due to arrive at his kingdom in a few short hours, and he was wishing to prolong it as much as he could. "Prince Guval?" He heard a voice, as well as an opening door. Turning his head, he caught sight of one of the mere servants whom worked to make a living at times like these. Observing the servant's fair features, he raised an eyebrow. "Yes?"He questioned, taking a few steps forward as he pushed in the chair he was previously sitting in. "The Queen and King have ordered you to their chamber, sir." She spoke out tenderly, giving off a small bow before walking off after he had given a small nod of acknowledgement. Glaring at the ground, he made his way to his parent's rooms, knowing they would tell him to prepare himself to meet his 'wife to be'.

"You may enter." His father's voice sounded out, as Guval had just finished knocking on the large, wooden door with fancy carvings. Taking a breath, Guval opened the door, walking in with a confident stride, raising his chin in a defying way. "You requested my presence, father and mother?" He spoke, tilting his head downwards only slightly, a small bow of respect. Even though he was their child, the kingdom was strict on the hierarchy. "Correct," his mother's voice rang out, smooth and graceful, much like her features. Glancing up, he noticed her outfit- a tinted red dress, black designs spiraling up the sides and towards the breasts. Meeting her gaze, he watched the dark brown curls that frame her face shift, he words reaching is ears. "As you know, your princess will be here in just a few short hours." She continued, reminding him of only the dreadful truth he was highly aware of. Inhaling, Guval shifted his gaze to the window, wanting to just flee the fate of his future. "The kingdom is setting up a special feast and festival for her precious arrival- as we are very thankful for the arrangements between the two of you." her words were like venom, making him dread every letter of each sentence she spoke. Of course his kingdom was thankful, they were the only reason he was doing this. Giving up his own heart's true desire to protect the place he grew up in."See to it that you are well groomed. You must make a great first impression upon her grace. We will send an escort to bring you out to her when she arrives, remember, this is for your kingdoms safety, dear." her tone was laced with warning. Even though she could be so gentle and sweet to him, she knew he didn't like these plans. But yet, she used the one thing he showed a great admiration towards, against him. Nodding, Guval glanced to his silent father, seeing he had already busied himself in other things. "Yes, mother. I will see to it that all goes well." and then, with a small bow and fake smile, Guval turned and left. Heading to his chamber, he dreaded to prepare himself for the end of his future.

----------
"Why must I marry a man I do not love?" the young princess asked softly. Her face looked tired and you could easily see in her eyes that she had gotten no rest at all last night. But there was also something else wrong with this young princess, something you couldn't see unless you knew what you were looking for; this young princess held a look of defeat. "Because" her maid started as she clasped a necklace around Annabeth's neck, "Your father wants to unite the kingdoms." The maid moved away from jewelry and added the finishing touches to Annabeth. "But why must I marry him" she asked as she reached up to touch the charm to her necklace before letting her hand fall to her lap. The maid just sighed and stepped away from the princess, looking her up and down to make sure that the princess looked like, well a princess. "I don't know, you must ask your father" the maid said before walking to the princess'es closet, leaving Annabeth staring at her own reflection. She reached up and touched the bags under her eyes; her maid had made them disappear, but she knew they were there. It was a painful reminder of everything, and Annabeth knew they were there.

Annabeth did not want to marry this prince, but it was not because she was in love with another man or because the prince was a jerk. In fact, she had never met the prince, and for all she knew, he could be the love of her life. No, it had nothing to do with the prince, but rather her father. Her whole life, her father had told her what to do, how to act, and Annabeth did all that she was ask of. She learned which fork to use for what meal, when to talk and when not to, how to be the princess that she needed to be. But all the princess ever wanted was a say in her life, and that was the one thing she had never gotten. Annabeth didn't control one single thing in her life. She was a puppet controlled by a puppeteer, and no matter how hard she tried at cutting the strings, the play still went on. The horrible play that haunted her in her sleep, that kept her awake at night; last night included.  Annabeth could see all that in the bags in her eyes, and maybe someone could of if they looked hard enough, but no one ever did. For it was much easier to cover the bags, then to kill the problem that caused them.

Annabeth stood up and walked to her bookshelf, pulling out the books she wanted to take with her and gently putting them on her bed. She was trying her hardest to busy herself so she wouldn't break down. She had held in all her emotions, but she knew that it was all going to come out any second. Then, her cat hopped up on her bed and rubbed her head against Annabeth's arm. "Why can't I take him?" she asked as she sadly looked down at her cat. Her cat meant everything to the princess. The maid exited the closet and turned to face her, her face full of sadness. "I'll take care of him while your gone" the maid promised weakly. Not being able to take her cat was the last straw for Annabeth and she let a single tear drop from her eye. The maid rushed to her and tried her best to comfort the princess, but it was no use. There was no good way to look at this. Annabeth pushed the maid away and wiped away the tear.  A princess must never cry in front of a crowd, maid or not. The princess'es face turned hard as she easily masked her emotions. "I'm fine" she lied, and the maid gave her a look of doubt. But there was nothing the maid could do, for another servant had entered the room and told Annabeth it was time to go.

His gaze locked onto the mirror, his eyes swarming over his body, scanning his attire. He was in a tight shirt, yet not too tight to become uncomfortable. His sleeves were rolled up, his biceps easy to be seen by onlooking eyes. His pants were tinted gray, his shirt lighter blue; overall making him appear charming and mysterious all at the same time. Finishing tying the top of his shirt, Guval sighed, now knowing the time was coming; and way to close for his comfort. He could only imagine the princess being sent to marry him. He figured it was probably a stuck up, spoiled rotten daddy's girl who always got anything and everything she wanted. 'Well things would change for her.' He thought carelessly, shrugging his shoulders before he sat himself on the edge of his bed, fumbling with his fingers. As he fumbled and thought, his eyes caught sight of an object reflecting the sun. Curious, Guval strode over tot he dresser, his gaze looking at the box that cradled his sister's necklace. Taking in a sharp breath, Guval extended his hand forward, his finger tracing the gold chain, tracing it down to the wolf charm. It was his and his sister's favorite animal. They found it to resemble independence and strength. Something he and her believed in greatly.

Suddenly he felt the loss and longing for his sister deep down. He had lost her just a few years ago. It was the rivaling kingdom's fault; as it was their idea to murder the princess in hopes to make his kingdom surrender. Only, it didn't make him surrender, but instead make him even more furious. Which is one of the main reasons his parents had arranged the marriage with the another kingdom, in hopes for the to come together in strength to wipe out the smaller one. Of course, it was one reason as to why he did agree, somewhat willingly. Only to get revenge and justice brought to his sister, who was murdered far worse than one could imagine..

Guval gently took the necklace out of the box, as he held it carefully, almost like it was a newborn baby breathing air for the first time. He then strode to his mirror, and slowly put it on. He wanted his sister to provide him with strength for this day, a day that he would dread. Hopefully, this would help him get through it a little easier. Tracing the necklace, he then tucked it into his shirt, feeling the gold metal against his chest, it being cold for a moment, as soon his body heat would warm it. That's when he heard it- the knock he had wishing he was deaf to avoid. "Prince Guval?" A voice echoed, as Guval slowly trudged to the door, opening it. "Yes, I assume her grace has arrived?" he stated, his tone seemingly emotionless, for he wouldn't show them how he felt. But of course, in front of his kingdom, he would have to act happy with the arrangements, only for their sake. "Yes, my lord. Follow me as I shall escort you to her grace." the servant voiced, bowing respectfully before beginning to walk. Taking in a breath, Gival straightened himself out, making his stand emit confidence and pride, despite he felt none of that inside.

Countless people were at the center of the kingdom. It seems like every citizen of it was there to witness the meeting, to witness hope brought to their kingdom. Guval was escorted onto a horse, the stallion being a mesmerizing black, his skin seeming to be silky and smooth. Guval trotted behind the two captains of his army, leading him into the center to meet his wife to be. He knew she would already be there, and most likely tiresome from the trip taken to get here. His father had told them they went by carriage and horse, arriving at the center in a few short hours. Fanning out, the crowd moved to let Guval through, his gaze soon landing on the wagon he could only assume his princess was waiting for him in. Dismounting his stallion, Guval stood in front of him, awaiting her grace to show herself and meet him in the middle for everyone to see. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are here to witness the welcoming of her grace, Princess Anabeth Maire Rose, whom is to be betrothed to Our very own, Prince Guval!" His father's voice began to speak, as he then signaled for one of the princess' guards to escort her out of the wagon. All the while, Guval held his breath, maintaining his stance while he calmed himself, awaiting to see the one he was forced to be with.

----------

Her eyes stared straight ahead, avoiding to look out of the window. She dreaded what she might see, so instead, she concentrated on other things. She was nervous, and anyone who looked at her could tell. She was playing with her dress, and her eyes held a look of fear. She held a book in her lap, but she was still on the same page she was when she started this trip. Instead, she fidgeted with the page tips, fanning them back and forth. She didn't know what time it was, or how long it would be till she arrived, but she knew it was very soon. She felt the carriage turn and knew they were nearly there. She reached up to touch the charm to her necklace once more, and turned the soft pearl between her fingertips.

Her face held a clam look, but it was forced, for many negative emotions were running through her. She couldn't believe she was actually engaged to someone she had never even met. It's not because she didn't expect anything less from her father, she just couldn't believe how unfair it was. She never wanted anything to be this way. She was to fall in love and run a kingdom with the wisdom she had gathered over the years; not be forced to run a kingdom and pretend to be in love with someone she was not. How was she to prove she could be a queen if her father did all that he could to avoid it. It was obvious that her father held no hope for her, and she couldn't help but feel responsible for that. She was quite aware that her father had wanted a son, one to take over his kingdom when he had become of age, and she could only imagine how disappointing it was to find out that Annabeth was a girl. Of course, he was a father to her and gave her everything she needed, but she didn't ask to be a princess. She didn't want this.

Suddenly, the carriage stopped. A few seconds later and a guard opened the door to inform her that she had arrived. He then closed the door and left her to be in her thoughts. She knew she only had minutes before her 'prince' arrived, and she started to count the minutes. One minute down and she had almost tried to make a run for it, two minutes down and she convinced herself she needed to stay, the third minute down is when the fear hit, and the fourth minute down is when she heard the clatter of horse hooves. She could hear them loud and clear as they rung throughout. She heard the horse stop as she waited helplessly inside. Though she wish she hadn't, she heard the king announce her name and she heard a guard make his way to the carriage.

The guard told her it was time and she gave a little nod. She felt sick to her stomach but refused to let it show. She placed a foot out of the carriage, and with the help of the guard, she stepped out. She stood besides the carriage, tall and proud, and glanced around. There were people around, much more then she thought, and they were all staring at her. But she noticed that some were staring at something else, and they were watching with quite a focus. Annabeth followed there gaze and found herself staring at a prince. Prince Guval Honarch, her husband to be.

All eyes seemed to be locked on the carriage, including Guval's intense gaze. The lady to exit the carriage would be his new wife, his lover, the mother to his children one day. Despite the fact he didn't want to be forced to be with her, he knew they would have to last long enough to birth a heir to the throne. Pushing those thoughts aside, Guval's breath hitched as the door opened, then one foot, two feet, and then the legs. Moving his gaze up, he roamed her body with his eyes, taking in every inch of his future. Her dress framed her body in a charming way, her hair seeming to be fixed as close to perfection as it would be allowed, her her make up seemed to of taken precious time. Gulping only slightly, Guval glanced to his father. Seeing his father nod to Guval, he knew it was time to approach her, purpose rightfully, and prance her back to his palace for a festival and feast.

Guval moved forward, his strides well placed, and well poised. His stance was confident, as he forced a welcoming and charming smile to tug at his lips, showing off to the crowd. In all honesty, she was a gorgeous girl. And that made him feel all the more worse about their situation. Having now reached her, Guval nodded to her guards, asking for some room. The guards moved over slightly, enough to allow Guval the space he needed. Guval then proceeded to bow to the princess, greeting her. "Princess Anabeth Maire Rose," Guval began to voice, his tone deep and smooth, laced in charm and pride. Lowering his figure to one knee, the prince looked up to meet her gaze, pulling out the gold ring, diamonds lacing the rims, as the smaller ones rowed up to meet the bigger, brighter jewel in the middle. Raising it, he gently took her hand in his, holding it with such tenderness, one could think it would break with a squeeze. He then moved his head forward, placing a small, affectionate kiss to the top of it, before pulling back."With such honor, I purpose to you with affection and pride. Our kingdom is forever grateful for your grace, as we welcome you with open, inviting arms. Will you do the rightful honors of betrothing me?" It was a rare thing for a male to actually purpose to the wife to be, but seeing as she was a princess, and he was a prince, it was only the royal thing to do.

Silence overcame the crowd, each one quietly, yet anxiously awaiting the beautiful princess'es answer. Of course, Guval and his family already knew what it would be, yet the kingdom needed to think it was an arranged marriage, but an actual show of love and affection to another kingdom. Guval could feel his sister's necklace against his chest, as it seemed to throb against his pounding heart beat. He wasn't nervous- nor afraid of rejection,  just devastated. He grew up believing he would find love, love he actually felt. He thought he would rule the kingdom with a queen who had actually stolen his heart, but yet, here he was being forced to do such actions.

Annabeth was starring at him. She was looking at her husband. She took every detail about him in and tried to figure out what kind of person he was. Confident. It was obvious by the way he stood. He seemed like he knew how to run a kingdom and looked like everything a prince should be. But there was something else she sensed. She wasn't sure if she was right about it, for he was hard to read, but she felt it there none the less; she felt sadness. It was underneath everything and it was hard to find, but she knew what she was looking for. She felt it too, but just like him, it was covered. So, he must not want to marry me either she thought. She couldn't blame him, and didn't take it offensively. She didn't want to marry him either. It had nothing to do with him, she just hated being forced to do something she didn't want to do. It was the worse thing in the world, but the sad thing was, she was use to it. She was used to being ordered around by her father, forced to do things she didn't want to. It was all because of the stupid crown on her head. She didn't ask for this life. She didn't want this to be her life.

But it was. And there was no escaping it. Unless.. No. She knew she couldn't run from this. She knew she had to stay and marry this prince. So instead of running away, instead of escaping, she smiled. She smiled at the prince like she expected she would've if she loved him. She watched him come to her and knew what was coming. She knew what would happen and how she was suppose to react. She had been forced to practice a convincing enough reaction for weeks until she had her fathers approval.

She forced herself to look at him like a lover would; she looked at him like he was the love of her life. She only hoped it was convincing enough. When he said her name, she made her smile widen, and she made it look warm as if the prince saying her name was what made her happiest. She watched him as he knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring. Her ring. She heard the crowd gasp and tried her hardest to ignore them. She needed to focus on him, on the proposal.

"Of course" she breathed but loud enough for the crowd to hear considering they were the ones she needed to please. The crowd burst out cheering and she knew she did her job well. She smiled like it was the happiest moment in her life and waited for the prince to put the ring on her finger. This is it she thought. I couldn't escape it. She looked in to the prince's eyes and hoped he could read the message her eyes sent. Im sorry. However, her smile didn't falter, and she knew that she would need to fake cry; she needed to let a small tear out to show her happiness. Her father had made her learn to fake cry, and she did not disapoint. She let a tear slide down to her cheek, but smiled through it. Though, she wasn't fake crying, for it was a real tear.
