Nothing exists in this land but the open plains. Before the Indians in the 1800's discovered the use of horses. The drizzling of rain as it falls from the skies, whirling and swirling of the brisk fall wind. The only other sound is the intense and unforgettable sound of hooves pounding the ground in a rapid speed. A rampage of wild horses taking over the land, dividing and concurring. Battling for the ultimate and most popular blood lines.

A band, or herd of horses consists of a single stallion and a few mares and foals. Once a filly or colt becomes two years old, they are kicked out of their herd to prevent inbreeding though sometimes fillies are allowed to stay longer.
Lead mares are not the stallion's favorite and are not chosen by the stallion. The lead mare is the most dominant mare, usually the oldest though younger mares can fight the lead mare for the position. Lead mares can push other mares and foals around, they get to drink first from water holes, lead the herd to new places and even kick out mares that they do not like. They are above the lead stallion in dominance, they lead the herd while the stallion protects, covers and adds more mares into the band.
Stallions mate with all or most mares in his herd once they come into heat, and the mare will give birth in 11 months to a single foal and even twins, though twins are extremely rare and will die if born in the wild as they need human help to survive, there is also a chance of the mare dying if twins are born.
Horses are flight animals, stallions only fight if their herd is being threatened by another stallion. If there were a fire or wranglers and a horse was captured, another horse wouldn't go to the wrangler and fight them as they would be too scared to and would only be thinking about escaping though they will fight if their foal is threatened.
Mares may even go into heat one week after their foals are born and are usually in heat during in Spring and Summer, sometimes Autumn and never winter.
A Bachelor is a stallion who does not have a herd and will often try to court and snake lone mares or mares from another herd. Stallions don't often start herds until they are at least 5, when they are strong enough to keep a few mares and will stay with other bachelors until they gain a mare.
Snaking is when a stallion lowers his head, pins his ears and runs behind the mares, sometimes nipping but is mostly just running close to them. This causes mares, foals, and sometimes even younger stallions to move in a certain direction and is used to bring a herd to another place or to steal mares from a herd. Mares always to go where the stallions want them to go and will hardly fight back, but when they do there is not much they can do since stallions are stronger and can usually get them to go to a certain area quickly and easily. This is used when moving their herd or bring a mare to the herd. Snaking is very normal and mares do not hate stallions for doing it.
Herds may consist from 1-6 mares but it is possible to have larger herds.
Lone horses cannot survive in the winter and must be with others, either in a herd or in a band of bachelor stallions or they will surely die.
A mare has 4 stages of heat
0- Not interested in a stallion at all
1-Still not interested in a stallion
2-Slightly interested but will still fight
3-Interested but will fight if the stallion tries to hard
4-Will accept any stallion and won't fight at all, even if she does not know him
Though it is not common, a stallion will sometimes kill a foal if it is not theirs or if they sense that there is something wrong with it. They do this to make sure only their bloodlines will spread and if the foal has a disability then it will green the herd from moving slower than it should.
Mares will rarely nurse a foal that is not their's, there are few that may take in a foal, but most usually just ignore the foal, even if it it's dam is dead and It is not weaned.
Older mares that can no longer produce foal's will sometimes try to steal foals from other mares. Of this happens, a stallion can't and will not do anything about it. The mother can try to take her foal back, but if she fails the foal will die.

He's proud, he's cruel, he's dominant and possessive. He's impatient and rude and arrogant. He's not a fool, he's a violent stallion and he gets what he wants when he wants. Nothing will stand in his way, if he see's a mare, she'll be his. Grim has little to no Patience and if a mare steps out of line, he'll snap at them and put them back in line. He's an incredibly light sleeper, thinking his mares may get stolen or wonder to far and so he doesn't sleep heavy and doesn't sleep much at all. If any stallion gets to close to his trophies, he'll get violent and possessive and chase them off. He's secretive and holds dearly to his mares, deep down caring greatly for them. His actions show opposite. He can't handle his mares being taken from him and goes slightly insane when they are taken from him, but his love and affection for his mares is hidden and on the extreme rare occasion may he show affection to his mares. However, on the occasion he may sweet talk mares into joining him. Grim is not the kind of stallion you will want to mess around with. He had a harsh nature which he uses to punish those whom deserve so, he is not always a violent young male but of sorts. He can be very docile and easy going and has a bit of a hip hop personalty when he is in a good mood, getting along with anyone and everyone, [except for stallions and other stallions colts] and makes a brilliant friend. His friendship fades the minute something annoys him, and it is not hard to annoy him. He hates mares who tease and has put several hoof marks on a mares side because of it, he can't handle it, mostly because when she teases him, her scent goes through the area alarming other studs of their presence. He never brings harm to a mare, without cause. However his cruelty can only be handled by the toughest of mares, those whom a foolish enough to pass him and are too young and loving, find their hearts crushed with a foal they do not want. Grim won't hesitate to kill unnecessary wasters of oxygen (foals which aren't his as he calls them) and will not pitty any mare he does it to. His heart is cold, his soul his dark, his eyes almost burning with aggression, posing fear to even the most bravest mares.

Remmy is a sweet natured mare, she's very adoring and caring and very sweet, loving and caring. She's got an amazing nature and makes a brilliant friend. She's not dominant, but she's not docile, she refuses to be at the bottom, but refuses to be at the top of the ranking. She wants to be in the middle, is that so much to ask? She is quiet and reserved usually keeping to herself and not talking much unless she must. Remmy could happily live her life in a huge herd, or all alone, but either way, she'd be happy -to a degree- She's a horrible mother and doesn't care for her foals, she'll have them if her stallion asks but won't show them affection of any sort. She'll feed them and care for them, but won't be loving or affectionate, of course, she will protect her foal, from anything. After about two weeks of it, her foals get used to it. She lets her stallion do as he pleases, and doesn't care if he mates, how he mates, what he does to her, and will do what he wants how he wants and when he wants, as long as it doesn't mean harm to herself, or her foals.

Destiny is extremely dominant. She's probably the most dominant mare you will ever meet, she won't back down, and she won't show submission unless the mare is years and years older than her, in which case she'll put up a fight but may back off. The mare refuses to be below lead mare and if she doesn't succeed in being lead mare, She'll leave. She'll annoy the stallion and lead mare until she is thrown from the herd in which case she will leave happily to find a new herd. The mare is very protective and brave and will look after her herd brilliantly willing to challenge anything to protect her foals or get what she wants, be it mare or stallion or predator, or even human. stubborn. if Destiny does not want to do something, she will not do it. If she wants something, it will be hers, there is no way to avoid Destiny getting what she wants. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants. She is cruel and harsh, only joining a stallion whom she believes, is good enough for her, until then, she'll dance from stallion to stallion chasing each away until she gets the right one.

Blaze's personality is scattered among many personalities, she's sweet and loving, most affectionate at times, but then she can be dominant, bossy, stubborn and a little rude if she has to be. Blaze always has reason for her actions, she treats her foals with as much respect as she would her lead mare, or her herd, and will not put her foals below her in any way. Blaze is prone to have twins, in which case, both foals die, one survives making it seem like a tiny sickly runt in which stallions kill thinking so, or on the rare occasion both survive and live a happy healthy life. Blaze is not the only mare this happens to, some mares are prone to only having twins each time they fall pregnant, it is twins. if both her twins survive, Blaze's protection tends to lie more on the side of one of her twins for she can not, and does not have the physical strength to fight a stallion off both of her foals, but one, she can handle. This year, she's chosen to protect her chestnut colt over her palomino colt, simply because, Phoenix shows more potential than Raven, of course, that's not the only reason, she has to choose each time she gives birth to her twins and must decided within two days who she will protect the most. It is clear, Raven has suffered a few attacks, but Phoenix has suffered less, both foals have a few scars, so does she, and on the occasion, she's managed to fight of the stallion, but, they were not much older than herself, if an older male comes along, she will turn to phoenix and take him only. She's not mean, it's an unfair world, life is unfair.
