Quinn Lee ;; Male ;; 19 ;; No love ;; Vicious, hard-headed, strong-willed

Quinn has difficulty connecting with others, often closing himself off to the people
around him. He is not afraid to use force in a confrontation, making many
people fearful of him. He does, however, have a compassionate side,
though it is seldom apparent to strangers. He also expresses a desire to
help his people, but feels he is unable to do so due to his personality and
previous actions. Quinn can be often peaceful and kind or he can be often
ruthless and violent. Quinn, however, has a knack for his constant swearing.
He frequently shows little regards for the others peaceful actions in the past
and more so succumbs to his animal-like instincts. For one thing, Quinn
maintains a dedication to his closer friends and can act more passive and
gentle towards more fragile characters, such as young children and those in
hard times. Yet, as a werewolf with anger issues, he is more likely to lose himself
in a fit of rage and struggles to keep his animal form intact. Quinn does however
hold onto his hope that someday he would be considered normal and put away
his violent history amongst his fellow group members, and hopefully, more survivors.
Quinn can be seen as selfish a lot of the time, but this is merely due to his painful history.
Quinn is, however, not without mercy and believes that in becoming his full wolf, he would
lose the humanity he tried so hard to keep within himself.
Quinn, unlike some weres, is strongly aware of his shift and what he is, and will do anything
to keep their kind in secret until they disappear from human memory altogether. If
or when, Quinn falls in love (seldom) he is one who fully devotes himself to someone and
perhaps, his one of many faults is that guilty of loving too much and being so overly
protective of those he holds close to himself that he hurts others. 'Sometimes you have
to hurt others to protect the ones you love'.

Penn Davys ;; Male ;; 21 ;; No love ;; Intelligent, calm, flirty, sweet, cowardly

Penn is a somewhat intelligent character, and is a thinker--an observer. He's one

who will most likely analyze things before he says wrongly, and is more laid-back,

and doesn't charge forward like Quinn would. They often butt heads, because he

believes strategy is the best motive, while Quinn goes ahead and shoots the walkers

before thinking. This has often led to fights with both, and there is tension between

the two. Being human, Penn is also somewhat disgraced and looked down upon. He

has never been attacked by Quinn, but it has come close, and Quinn's sister, Alex,

has had to pull them apart. Previously, Penn had feelings for Alex but she diminished

them. He has just stayed away. Even so, Penn thinks he's the bees' knees when it

comes to women, but he is often shot down. He doesn't mind.

In it all, he's secretly cowardly. He tries his best, but he's petrified, and doesn't

have a clue what to do, so it is mostly out of fear. No one knows, and Penn

is planning that no one will ever.

Petra Hamilton ; Human ; Eighteen ; Female ; No love or family ; Careful, wary, loyal, stubborn, peaceful, loving

Before the zombie outbreak, Petra had a perfectly average life. Hanging out with friends, school, lacrosse... It the normal life of a teenager, fun yet stressful. Petra loved acting silly, letting her rambunctious and wild side break free. She was always the jokester, the adventurer, always up for another dare. She had morals and values, trying her best to uphold to them. Kindness was an aptitude of hers, and she frequently showed it to those she met. Petra was never insanely popular, but she had a good friend group, and never had to worry about being alone. Her family was normal, and was as much as could be expected. Her parents were always somewhat busy, but this never posed a problem. Her little brother was obnoxious, annoying yet lovable. Petra was completely normal, and completely happy. When the rumors of the infection began to spread, she brushed them off as a silly joke. Nothing seemed less believable, and Petra thought that it was just the government trying to scare them. However, as evidence began to flood in, she, like the rest of the world, grew afraid and paranoid. It couldn't be true, could it? People began to evacuate by the masses, seeking remote locations in the wood. Her parents, however, wouldn't budge. They were in a state of denial, and refused to believe the infection that was taking the world by storm. In just a few weeks, millions had been bitten. This meant that walkers were walking in the streets, their intestines pouring out and their skin grotesque greys, mixed in with blood and any other imaginable appalling site. This was enough to make Petra's stomach turn, and she was often hiding in her room, trembling in fear. What on earth had gone wrong?

As time went on, more were infected. Petra's parents were in complete denial; they utterly refused to believe what was happening. They tried to resume life as normal, with her mother's gardening and her father washing the car. Petra tried to convince them to stay inside, but they were too stupid to listen. Inevitably, they were eventually bit. Petra waited and waited for them to come home, sobbing with her brother. Eventually, she heard footsteps in the front yard, and Petra eagerly threw open the front door, expecting it to be them. It was them, but they weren't the same. Snarls emitted from their bodies, and they took giant, lurching steps forward. Dried blood was on her mother's blouse, and her father had an eyeball halfway in its socket. She screamed in horror, and felt shock course through her body. Her parents were dead, yet their bodies were still acting out of their own accord. They approached Petra, who was at a loss of what to do. She merely slammed the door just in time, screaming at her brother to stay upstairs. The zombie-versions of her parents lingered around the house for days, as if hey knew their children were inside. Eventually, Petra could stand it no longer. She took her brother's hunting rifle (a Christmas present from his father), and shot both of her parents. It was the hardest thing Petra had ever done in her life, but she couldn't stand seeing her parents the way they were. Ever since this act, she's changed. The world was no longer the place filled with sunshine like she thought it was.

Petra and her brother evacuated, with meager supplies. After she put down her parents, the personality change of Petra was obvious. She was no longer happy and giggly, now only quiet and sullen. She was quick to anger when her brother did not obey, and they were in many fights. She felt alone, scared, and undeserving of all of the responsibility she had on her shoulders. After roaming the town for days and getting in a few close calls, Petra finally found a group of survivors. They were a rough and tumble group, disarming, and criminal-looking. It wasn't the ideal group of people, but Petra was desperate for protection for her and her brother. They stayed with the group for a few days, with no notable events. However, walkers began to press closer, and the group was beginning to run out of food. In an attempt to locate more, the leader of the group made search groups. Petra's brother was picked for one of them, and despite her pleas, he was forced to go. Hours of agonized waiting passed, and he never came back. after eavesdropping on the leader and his second-in-command, Petra learned that the search group was never intended to come back. The leader was well aware of the dangers, so he sent the patrol out to cut down on the number of mouths to fed. At this news, Petra broke. She barged in, screaming and threatening to kill the leader. It was stupid and rash, and it got her into deep trouble. They threw her to the walkers without a second thought, leaving her defenseless by taking her gun. This is when she thought it was the end; they were everywhere, and coming at her fast. However, a young man quickly came to her defense. He was tall and strong, with odd eyes and aggression. He used only a knife, yet was able to skillfully stab and slit the throats of the approaching walkers. He and Petra escaped, with her not giving a second thought about following him. In the desperate situation, who would?

His name s Jett Kincaid, and Petra is untrusting of him. Even though he saved her life, and in the heat of the moment she followed him, she now regrets her actions. Ever since the death of eh brother, she has become even more closed off and angry. she hasn't been happy in a long time, and she has changed so much form the fun-loving, goofy girl that she once was. She has difficulty trusting others, which is reflected in her allegiance with Jett. She doesn't trust him at all, yet does not wish to leave him, in fear of being alone again. As much as she tries to put up an angry, cold front, she isn't one for violence. In most situations, she prefers peace and will try her best to stop fights. However, when it comes to walkers, she is given no choice. She is pretty good and fighting them, but only when she is armed with a weapon. When matched with a difficult task, Petra will keep working and not stop. Her stubborn nature shines through when things don't go her way, and she will keep working her hardest until they do. Once her walls are broken down, however, Petra proves to be a loyal friend. She will never leave anyone's side, whether they be friend or stranger. She has the capacity to love, and deeply too. Once trust is established in this wary girl, her joking and affectionate side can be brought out. However, it would take someone, or something, very special to do this, for she hasn't smiled in a very long time.
