School had been simple, but a little bit tiring, leaving Kinuko more than ready to go home; however, it seemed Honey had had a different idea. Honey's family was good friends with Ko's, and the two had known each other for several years, and now that she was attending Ouran, Honey wanted to introduce her to all his friends.
"C'mon, Ko-chan! I want you to meet eeeeveryone in the host club!" He said cheerily, one arm wrapped around his beloved Usa-chan while the other hand pulled on Kinuko's arm. Beside him, walked Mori, his hands stuck into the pockets of his trousers. Ko had known Mori for as long as she had known Honey, and she was still surprised at how quiet he was. As far as this host club went, Ko was surprised that such a thing even existed in a high school, and even more so that Honey and Mori had become involved in it. Neither of the two seemed the sort to actually do this, but from everything Honey had told her - and he had told her quite a lot - they did enjoy it. As to be expected, Kinuko was curious to see this host club for herself, especially after today, because as much as Honey seemed to enjoy being a part of the club, the girls in class seemed to love visiting Music Room 3 even more.
"There's gonna be cake, too! And tea and sweets!" Honey went on as the three walked down the hallway, the small high-schooler looking absolutely thrilled. "I do hope you'll have fun, Ko-chan!"
By the time they reached the large, double doors, Ko felt terribly intrigued to see what lay beyond, gray eyes curious. Mori opened the doors, letting Honey walk in - still practically dragging Kinuko - before following in himself.
"We're here everybody!" Honey announced happily. "And I brought a friend!"

Kinuko's gaze swept over the room, taking in its contents - the furniture, the big windows found everywhere throughout the school, the paintings on the walls, everything. It was only then that her gaze settled on the other people in the room. Recalling what Honey had told her, it was fairly easy to put the names to the faces of the other people. There was the tall blonde boy, Tamaki, the 'king' of the club. From the conversations she'd had with Honey, Ko had gathered that Tamaki was a bit of a ditz, but had a good heart. Then there was Haruhi with the short brown hair, who was apparently the newest addition of the club. Over by the laptop was Kyoya. Kinuko was acutely aware of the Ootori boy, simply because of his family. She had heard the Ootori name several times in her father's conversations, and she was aware that Kyoya's family was very influential. Then there was the twins - Hikaru and Kaoru.
Looking up at Tamaki as he walked over to stand in front of her, Ko blinked a little at the blonde boy with the blue eyes. As the apparent king of the club, she supposed the flirtatious air with which he presented himself was to be expected, but she still found it to be slightly amusing.
"My name is Kinuko. Kinuko Akiyama. It's lovely to meet you. Tamaki, right?" she answered, smiling back lightly at Tamaki.
"But we call her Ko-chan!" Honey chimed in happily, branching off from his friend to go see to that cake and tea he had spoke of before, wanting to sit down and enjoy the sweet snack with Ko. Mori followed after him to help, knowing very well that the small blonde boy would end up spilling the tea everywhere if he tried killing both that and the cake. Walking back into the room, Honey held the platter of cake in his hands, while Mori brought the tea.

Sitting beside his twin brother, Kaoru had turned his attention to the new visitor of the host club, a smile that matched his brother's perfectly sliding onto his face. Anyone who walked into the music room during host club hours was fair game for one of two things: a) wooing with brotherly love, or b) teasing. Generally, if it was a female, then he and his brother would quite possibly have them swooning with their brotherly love 'package'. If it was a male, then they were subjected to teasing. Considering this was a friend of Honey's, Kaoru thought that the girl could be a good candidate for either.
Turning to Hikaru, Kaoru saw his own mischievous expression reflected in the face of his brother. He nodded his head, side-glancing towards Kinuko. "That she could be a perfect toy to play with?" He asked in response. It went without saying that the Hitachiin twins shared remarkable telepathic abilities, so there was no doubt that the same thought that flowed in his brother's mind was also the one inhabiting his own. Still, he wondered what fun this newcomer would offer to them.

Tamaki was delighted and taken by surprise by her kind answer. He stood up straight again and scanned her with his eyes for a moment, then looked back at her face and gave a goofy smile. "Yes, that's me. The host club's king!" he finished his sentence dramatically, swooning around.
Realizing that it was a chance to introduce herself, Haruhi stood up and approached Kinuko. "Hello, Ko-chan" she started, using the name that Hunny explained she went by. "My name is Haruhi- Haruhi Fujioka" she stuck her and out for a handshake. Haruhi knew that if she told Kinuko that she was a female that she could trust her because she was Hunny's friend, but she didn't mention it just yet.
Out of nowhere Haruhi felt arms endorsing her, then she proceeded to get spun around as Tamaki squealed about her being cute. Honestly, she had enough to handle right now. She tried to ask him to put her down but to no avail. Thinking desperately she finally called out "Mori-Senpai! help me!"
Finally, Kyoya seemed to take interest in the whole situation and looked up information about Kinuko. "So your family owns shopping malls and department stores, is that correct?" Kyoya questioned, appearing beside her. He pushed his glasses up his nose, and decided to give a good name to his family. "My name is Kyoya, and I'm from the Ootori estate". He was sure that Hunny had already told her all their names, but it would be considered rude to not greet himself. After all, her family did have some power. It would help him to treat her well.

Hikaru recognized the same smile on Kaoru's face and knew immediately without him telling him that they were having the same thoughts. Although Kinuko was not a male, she was Hunny's friend so she wasn't just some random girl they'd host to and go on their way. Hikaru didn't respond to Kaoru, but nodded instead showing that they were indeed thinking the same thing. Though the older twin wondered how much fun they would get from this girl before they became bored like they did with everything else. He knew they'd have to wait a bit before approaching her when he saw Kyoya make his way over to her. Sighing, he looked back at their script and skimmed over it once more.

It was like a swarm of people that suddenly engulfed the space around her - something that she wasn't sure on how she honestly felt. It wasn't really a suffocating sort of sudden introductions, but it was certainly a lot to take in. Even so, Kinuko was glad to see that they were all friendly people, even though it was probably something expected of them. Not only were they hosts, but they all stemmed from wealthy families as too... Well, save for Haruhi. Honey had told her about Haruhi was not actually of rich descent, which only served to impress Ko. Getting into a school like this without having money to help you out? It was a task not easily completed, and definitely something amazing.
Watching Tamaki with the same amusement as before, Kinuko noted to herself that Tamaki didn't seem much like a king at all, or at least a very silly king indeed. Perhaps the girls enjoyed such a goofy character for their prince, though Ko could only find herself wanting to laugh.
When Haruhi spoke to her, Kinuko smiled and shook her hand with a small nod. "And it's a pleasure to meet you, Haruhi. Honey told me a lot about you," she replied. Though Honey had failed to mention the part about Haruhi being a girl, he had gone on to tell her many other things about Haruhi - as well as the other members of the club. They all seemed like nice people just from Honey's depictions of them, and the introductions were proving to back up his statements.
However, when Tamaki suddenly engulfed Haruhi in his embrace, Ko's eyes widened a bit in surprise. She thought it a little strange how Tamaki gushed over Haruhi, but brushed it off with a small shrug of her shoulders. It only took a moment, though, for Mori to rush over and pick Haruhi up, out of Tamaki's arms, and place her on the ground away from the blonde 'king'. The expression on Mori's face was as blank as it always seemed to be, though Ko got the feeling that this wasn't the first time he had had to do something like that.
Looking up at Kyoya when he spoke up, Ko nodded her head. "Yes, they do," she answered. "And I know. It's nice to meet you, Kyoya Ootori." If memory served her right, Kyoya was the third son of the Ootori family, and according to Honey he was terribly smart and managed all of the funds of the Host Club. As far as his own family went, they were very respected and, again, featured occasionally in the conversations of her father's.The Himura family had a past of light claims in the medical field, and since the Ootori group owned a hospital and all that, it was only natural that she should have heard of his family before.
"Ko-chaaan!" Honey called from where he sat at the table. "Do you want some cake?" The lolita boy already had a fork in his hand, munching on a piece of the cake he had in front of him. It seemed his next target was the strawberry that rested on top, but first he paused to take a sip of his tea. "The tea is really goood!" Chomping the strawberry, Honey made a pleased humming sound, kicking his feet a little under the table. Usa-chan, his beloved stuffed rabbit, was still held close to his body by his arm, the pink ears flopped backwards and the limbs hanging loosely.

Kaoru was content to sit back and watch the other members of the host club flocked around the new guest. He chuckled quietly to himself, finding it to be pretty funny how they were all acting. They weren't being as flirty as they normally were with other guests, but that was probably due to Kinuko being a friend of Honey and Mori. Even so, it was still entertaining to watch as they all introduced themselves, wondering if Kinuko was feeling overwhelmed at all. It seemed that, when there was only one girl to speak to, it could all end up looking a little overbearing. With a small smile, Kaoru turned his head to look down at the script his brother was skimming over, following suite and doing the same. He almost felt bad for the girl, but that was nothing compared to the fun he and Hikaru were going to have with her.

Tamaki looked decently unhappy that Haruhi was suddenly taken from him, though he, as usual, quickly got over it and found something else that caught his interest. That was the fact that there was ten minutes until the 'Host Club' would open. Because of the new guest he had lost track of time. He began wondering if Hunny already told Kinuko about how the host club worked. Although he didn't consider that thought for long. Without hesitation he bounded over to Hunny's table towards Kinkuko, stopping right in front of the tables covered in platters with tea and cake. With the aroma of the desserts surrounding him Tamaki was quick to explain the host club. "Oh, Ko-Chan~!" the king almost sung out in an attempt to get her attention. "The host club will open soon for all of the ladies! You could sit and watch us like a good little kitten" he spoke, absentmindedly so.
Kyoya sat in the background, disapproving of his intolerant words. If he were in the same position Kinuko was in, he would try to leave as soon as possible. But, that was not how it worked. He was not in her position and she had to chose her own decisions. Not that he thought her decisions were the best, like the decision to visit the club, but he knew he could not control what she decides. Checking the time on his wristwatch he noted that there was only eight minutes before the host club will open. Kyoya closed his laptop with a silent click and put it aside, instead taking out his black notebook and viewing the finance part of the host club. That's odd he thought, skimming over it again to make sure he didn't see incorrectly. It looks like Tamaki's requests have gone down. Not by a lot, but still enough to make the king go into 'depression'. By the looks of it Haruhi would soon become second in place for most requested. Suddenly standing up, Kyoya closed his notebook and directed his attention on the Twins- Hikaru and Kaoru. It occurred to the shadow king that it was only those two who hadn't approached Kinuko. It was a little off, but nothing to fret about. He looked back at his wristwatch- six minutes left.
Haruhi was already at her table, preparing by setting up some porcelain cups and poring fresh tea in them. Because she owed the Host Club money by working, she tried to work a bit harder than most of them (excluding Tamaki) so she could stop working with an inconvenience of a club. She repeated her script in her head again. Yes, she would remember this. It wasn't that difficult. She would be talking about her life, and how difficult it could be. Usually Haruhi wasn't the one to drag on about her past, but from her other experiences she knew that was exactly what the girls that requested her wanted. It was a bit silly to her, actually. What was the point of such a club like this? Sighing, she told herself it was how it was and smiled a bit, looking around the room at everyone else.
Hikaru watched the commotion unfold about the new guest to the point where it was like nothing new happened. Turning his attention on the clock on the wall just next to him he read the time, then sat up straight as he realized it was almost time. "Are you ready, Kaoru?" he questioned his brother, really indirectly telling the other that the host club was going to open soon. With a single glance at the guest, Kinuko, he turned his attention once again at the double doors to the entrance of the abandoned music room. Only a few moments after that Tamaki strode over to the doors, opening them with such pride you'd think he actually was a king. And with that, girls began swarming in; signaling the start of the hosting period.

Kinuko seated herself across from Honey, looking over the different sweets available. She wasn't exactly one to eat sweets, or at least not a lot of them, as she wasn't exactly a fan of things like cake. Perhaps it was easier to say that she preferred the sweetness found in things like strawberries rather than in cake icing. She supposed it was a bit of a happy medium that several pieces of cake had strawberries in them, so there were both things to be offered. However, since this was her first time at such a thing as a host club, Ko was anticipating getting to observe how it all went, which meant she would rather not be distracted by food. This being decided, Ko simply poured herself a cup of tea and watched with a laughing smile as Honey devoured the piece of cake on his plate. She could never figure out how he managed to eat so much cake, as surely someone so small couldn't have a stomach that could hold as much as he ate, but somehow he managed to do it. It was surprising more than anything, and she wondered if perhaps he had broken a record here and there for cake-eating. It was just abnormal how much he ate it, and she wondered how many times he had been subjected to things like cavities. Knowing how Mori operated in concerns to the well-being of Honey, Ko didn't think he would allow such a thing to befall his cousin so easily. Shaking her head a bit, Ko laughed quietly under her breath and took a sip of her tea.
Looking up at Tamaki when he approached her, Ko was again struck with the oddity of the host club's king, though finding it to be funny as well. She quirked an eyebrow when he referred to her as a kitten, but didn't comment on it at all. It wasn't that she found it insulting or anything, but no one had ever referred to her as a kitten. Her entire life she supposed she had acted more like a puppy romping around in the dirt - as her mother occasionally reminded her. But a kitten had never before been a comparison for her. Either way, Kinuko did have the intention to sit back and watch the host club members do whatever they did.
"Yes, I think I will stay," she answered with a nod of her head and joking smile.
Looking over at Honey and Mori, she wondered what those two did. Did the other girls in the school find it cute how much cake Honey ate? Or did he slow it down a bit when they were around, too busy talking with them to indulge in his love of sweets? And what about Mori? He just stood there behind Honey like a silent guardian, but did he become more talkative whenever the girls came into the room? It would be strange to see him suddenly chatty, but she didn't ask.

Kaoru looked up at his brother, standing himself and adjusting one of the sleeves of his blazer. "Of course, Hikaru," he replied, turning his gaze over to the door with a smile. With the time drawing near for the Host club to open, Kaoru figured that there would be plenty of time to not only woo the ladies, but to also talk with the new one - Ko. She seemed to be pleasant enough, and he was quite excited for the whole thing. Today seemed to hold new possibilities, ensuring that they wouldn't become bored with it like it occasionally did. Often, Kaoru could find plenty of fun in being a host, but there were those few times where he found himself bored with it. Now there was sure to be no possibility of that happening. As the doors were opened by Tamaki, letting in the floor of female students, Kaoru put on a devilish, and yet inviting, smile, walking forward.

At the appearance of the girls, Honey turned around in his seat to look at them. With one hand holding onto his fork, he raised the other hand into the air and waved it at them.
"Welcome, ladies!" He called happily with a slight giggle to his voice. Some of the girls immediately answered back, waving to him as well as they made their way over. It seemed that, while some of them had their attention on Honey, there was an equal amount who wanted to stand next to Mori - who looked at them with his regular expression, which somehow managed to make the girls swoon all the same.
"Do you want some cake?" Honey offered, looking from girl to girl as he held out a plate. Ko, on the other hand, suddenly felt fairly awkward being in the midst of the other girls, and set down her tea cup before slowly, carefully getting up and moving a few steps away. Watching the hosts would only work if she wasn't caught up in the middle of it all.

As soon as Tamaki opened the double doors of the music room to let the girls in he stalked to his hosting table that was already full with females waiting for his return. Absentmindedly, he smoothly picked up a fork that was laying comfortably on a platter of cake and began using it to cut a small piece of cake off. While he did so he began meaninglessly flirting with the females that surrounded him with hearts in their eyes. From anyone's point of view Tamaki would look like a natural, which he undeniably was. But even so some people looked down on the host club- mainly other males. The reason for that is because apparently the host club steals all of the 'pretty females'. Though that argument was valid no matter which way you looked at it. Most of the girls that come to the host club are too busy swooning over the hosts that they don't bother actually trying to form an actual relationship. Tamaki lifted up a tea cup, making sure to hold it just the precise way. He brung it to one of his requester's mouths and tipped it, allowing them to drink. It almost looked like he was their servant and they were the masters. Either way, the females were happy with it. After complimenting another girl's eyes and feeding another girl cake, Tamaki took a small break to use the bathroom, promising to be back. In fact, his exact words were "I'll be back soon, my angels~", which probably sounded obnoxious to any outside viewers.

"And my dad had to work late that night, so I ended up cleaning up the house as well" Haruhi was doing her hosting as well. Although the in-love females surrounding her was a bit unnerving, she managed to do it without looking too out of place. When she heard the girls make noises of aw she had to stop herself from raising a brow at their rumbustious behavior. She would've never expected that people would find talking about her past interesting. While attempting to put the teacup back on the platter she missed, causing her to almost spill a cup full of hot tea on herself. Sighing in relief at the save, she noticed the girls offering to help and telling her she could go wash it off as if she actually did spill something on her.  "No, it's fine. Nothing spilled. Besides, I would rather spend time with you ladies" she lied at the end, smiling at them. Without even looking she knew they had hearts over their head.

Kyoya noticed Kinuko in the background watching all of the hosts, and observed her for several moments as if she was actually the host.  He pushed up his glasses once more, making the light glaze upon it and causing his eyes to be concealed. He walked up to Kinuko, stopping right behind her so he wasn't noticeable unless she heard his footsteps echoing towards her- which was probably impossible because of the amount of talking. He then asked loud enough for her to hear what he said without too much difficulty "Miss Kimuko" he started, referring to her politely. "If you don't mind, I have a suggestion for you" was what he said, but by the tone of his voice it sounded like he had said 'do what I tell you' instead. "Since you have not yet introduced yourself to the twins; Hikaru and Kaoru. I suggest you use this opportunity to do so.". It was a simple request, but it was not for the twins. He knew that she probably already had a good opinion about the host club, but if she became friends with the two troublemakers then they could direct they 'mischievous' adventures towards her and not anyone else in the host club. He first decided on that idea when he saw she was more of a carefree type of person. So yes, in the end it was all for the sake of himself.

Hikaru was at the table with Kaoru after all the girls got seated in, telling all the females about the time when Kaoru fell out of the bed at night- which was of course inevitably false. While doing so he made sure to keep an eye on their soon-to-be toy.

Honey was positively thriving in this environment surrounded by swooning girls and cake. He utilized his lolita boy appeal to capture their hearts and gaze, eating a piece of cake and smiling at them while he chewed. As if on purpose, Honey ended up with a bit of cake icing on his cheek, which, when combined with his boyish smile, left the girls giggling and 'aw'ing. But Mori, however, took notice of this and, with a napkin in his hand, bent himself towards his cousin.
"Mitsukuni," he said, "You have icing on your cheek." And he carefully wiped it away, folding the napkin afterwards. This action of the loyal guardian, only seemed to increase the way the girls clutched their hands and swooned, unable to bear how cute it was.
"Thank you, Mori!" Honey replied, kicking his feet happily under the table. Alone, Honey's shota boy ways were enough to woo the girls, and Mori's silent ways were mysterious enough as well, but when you combined the two in a servant-and-master sort of relationship, it was absolutely to die for. The girls ate it right up like Honey consumed his cake. The two seemed to compliment each other in their host work, balancing the other out. This harmony attracted several of the girls to the two, giving them both something cute and something mysterious. It was like everything that some girls wanted, all rolled up into two people as part of one package. Kinuko was impressed by the dynamics of the Host club and how they utilized each member's special abilities, but it was just so funny to see Honey and Mori in this sort of atmosphere. She just hadn't had them pegged as host boys, so seeing the very thing before her eyes was absolutely staggering - but in a ridiculously amusing sort of way.
Turning her gaze over to watch Haruhi, Kinuko was equally impressed with how natural 'he' seemed to be with the ladies. Among all the talking going on, it was a little difficult to hear just what exactly was being said, but whatever it was, Haruhi had all the girls listening completely enraptured. Honestly, this Host club really knew what it was doing, and all the girls seemed to adore it.

Ko's shoulders tensed for a split second when Kyoya spoke, his sudden voice behind her catching her by surprise. Turning to face him, curiosity was written on her expression, and she quickly noticed his tone of voice. She supposed that such authority was to be expected by a son of the Ootori family, but it was still a little unsettling to be a victim of it. Ko herself had never met any members of the Ootori family before, only heard of them through her father, so she had not known what to expect when Kyoya had introduced himself. However, she decided that, being the third son of such a rich and prestigious family, his authoritative tone of voice was only to be expected, especially since he also looked out for the Host club's funds and such. But at the mention of the two twins, Kinuko's gaze drifted over to where the two boys sat. She had not been properly introduced to them yet, but Honey had told her a bit about them as well. He had called them fun, but mischievous - boys who liked to play pranks and that sort of thing. Kinuko wasn't exactly sure why she needed to introduce herself to them, but she supposed it would be the polite thing to do. Nodding her head a little, she looked back up at Kyoya.
"Alright, I'll go," she replied with a small shrug of her shoulders. "But I'm not responsible for returning any pranks," she added quickly with a faint smile. Kinuko wasn't one of those people who got upset when someone used her as a target for tricks and pranks, so long as the person was okay with her turning it back around on them. Perhaps it was because of her personality, the one her mother wished to repress, that Ko found such enjoyment in things like that, but she wasn't intimidated by the apparent mischief of the twins. In fact, she was fairly curious over them. So it was then that Kinuko walked over to where the twins were seated with some of the other girls. Of course, she was no good at formal introductions, but she would give it her best shot.

As Hikaru spoke of how Kaoru had fallen out of bed the night before, Kaoru had played the role of embarrassed receiver and put a closed hand to his mouth, closing his eyes as though he were embarrassed and a little upset. "Hikaru, I thought I told you not to tell them about that," Kaoru said, making sure his voice cracked at the end to really layer it on thick for the ladies - who seemed absolutely smitten by this act of the twins. It was really so simple to make them happy, the girls. It was an easy equation with a predictable answer. Two twin boys who exuded homosexual tendencies toward each other and you have the perfect mix of taboo and intrigue. The ladies adored it all. And over their time here, Kaoru liked to think that he and Hikaru had come to perfect this.
However, like his brother, Kaoru had also been keeping an eye on the newcomer, and had noticed when Kyoya had approached her. He figured that he must have said something to her, because right afterwards the new girl started walking towards them. Lifting his head a bit, Kaoru turned to look at Hikaru smiling with a hint of mischief in his eyes.
"Look Hikaru, the newcomer," he said, turning his head to look back at Kinuko. "Hello there," he greeted, tilting his head to the side with a toothy grin.

Tamaki turned the knob to the bathroom sink, enveloping his hands in the not surprisingly fresh, cold water. By the looks of it, the water would probably be fresh enough to drink and it actually be good. But that was expected, as this was a rich school. They wanted to have the best everything. Tamaki specifically knew that, his father being the principal. Though not many people knew that, including Haruhi. It wasn't that the blonde male was hiding it, he just didn't talk about it as much as some people would in an attempt to brag about themselves. After he finished washing his hands he got precisely one paper towel and proceeded to dry his hands until there was no trace of them ever being wet to begin with. Dropping it in the empty trash, he excited the room. The chatter of the host club immediately engulfed his hearing. It sounded more loud than it was when he went in the bathroom. Walking to his table he watched as one after the other the females realized he was back, and began showing traces of happiness in their expression. Of course they're happy to see me. Who wouldn't be? Tamaki thought, thinking more highly of himself than most people did. Once he reached his table he smoothly sat back down in his seat, picking up the fork from last time and cutting off another small piece of the cake in front of him. It didn't have any strawberries on it, as that was Hunny's favourite so most of the host's were considerable enough to save those for him. "So, where were we?" Tamaki asked in a gentle, warming voice that he only used when doing things like this. Glancing to the side Tamaki noticed Kinuko walking over towards the twins, and knew that something was up- most likely trouble. Deciding to focus on the task at hand he looked back at the females surrounding him, to their delight.

Kyoya waited until Kinuko walked past him before doing a 90 degree turn, watching her walk towards Hikaru and Kaoru, Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to send her over there, Kyoya mused. She could've easily completely turned the Ootori's plan around and assisted them with their pranks. Although after considering that thought a bit more he quickly denied it, not seeing the two as doing something like that with someone they didn't exactly know. Perhaps one day, but not just yet. As to not look nosy, Kyoya turned back around and walked a few steps away from their table before some females walked up to him, shyly asking the shadow king if he would be selling any Host Club merchandise soon. Using a smile Kyoya mastered around them, he began telling them of their new sales, all thoughts about the twins and Kinuko disappearing.

Hikaru spoke to Kaoru's scripted protest, going by the script as well. "I'm sorry Kaoru, but you were just so cute when you did it that I couldn't help myself". While he spoke he made actions that looked like he was consoling his twin. Wondering when this would be over, he glanced at the ladies staring intently at them, some awing at the situation. But of course they would, he and Kaoru not only did what they wanted, but they did it well.
After that part was over Hikaru began snacking on some nearby cake while the girls asked him questions. Most of them were terribly boring that he had been asked over a million times like asking him his favourite food and if he liked them or Kaoru better, nothing out of the ordinary. Hikaru was about to take a bite of another piece of cake when Kaoru pointed out that the newcomer was approaching. Placing the fork back down on the platter he turned to face her, mirroring the same toothy grin. "Hello" Hikaru also greeted a second after Kaoru spoke. The older twin was tempted to greet himself as being 'Kaoru' instead of himself, but changed his mind, knowing she probably wouldn't remember who was who anyway.  "What's your name?" He asked, not sounding like he actually wanted to know her name -he already knew, anyway- but as a form of continuing his greeting. He leaned one elbow on his brother's shoulders as he did so.

Though Honey still worked on eating his cake, the young boy had slowed down a bit in the consumption as he talked with the other ladies. He didn't mind the questions asked or the old conversations which he had run through nearly every other time - he actually seemed to genuinely enjoy it. There were times that he found himself on one of the laps of the young girls, giggling and acting like someone half of his actual age, and then there were ties - like now - where he was content to drink tea and eat cake with the ladies and have some sort of actual conversation. But it didn't go unnoticed by Honey when his friend, Kinuko, walked over to the twins after talking with Kyoya. Though Honey never harbored any feelings of suspicion, generally, towards his friends, he was aware of how smart Kyoya was. Taking into consideration the way o seemed to walk over to the Hitachiin brothers with a sort of stride resembling that of someone with a predetermined idea, he figured that Kyoya had something to do with. Honey could only wonder what it was, knowing it surely wasn't anything dangerous. But he and Mori did share a glance between each other before Honey returned to his guests, and Mori kept an eye on Kinuko. The ladies took Mori's 'faraway gaze' as something to take interest in, attributing it to his normal reserved personality. But instead he was simply watching to see what might happen. He knew how the twins liked to cause mischief - just like the Cheshire Cat - and he could only wonder if Ko would find herself in the position of Alice, or the Mad Hatter. Seeing as how he and Honey had known Kinuko for a few years now, they knew of her truer personality, the one that a life of wealth and her family was trying to change in order to better suit the ideal rich daughter. That in mind, one could only wonder what might happen when Ko's personality collided with that of the twin's. Surely it wouldn't be anything bad, but definitely something of interest to watch. If Mori had been a more devious person himself, he might want to sit back to further watch the entertainment. But he wasn't, and his primary concern was for Honey's safety. As such, if Honey showed a piqued interest, then he would stand behind it, but he wouldn't say much about it himself.
"What do you think, Honey?" He asked, getting the girls' attention.
Honey glanced at his cousin, aware of what he was meaning. "I think they'll get along great! She's always played games with me, so I'm sure she'll do the same," he answered, giggling at the end, warding off any worry or curiosity that the ladies might have felt.

Kinuko felt a little bit ridiculous walking over to the twins like that, but when she remembered the tone of Kyoya's voice, she almost shuddered just at the thought of having to face it again. Kyoya smiled just as friendly as the others, but his voice always made it sound like he had some other objective, some other motive up his sleeve that he was trying to achieve - and she'd only met him a little while ago. So yeah, she would much rather hang out with the twins right now.
"Kinuko," she answered at the question of her name. She wasn't sure how she felt about her full first name honestly, as she'd toiled with that for a long time. When her mother used it, then it was said gently and softly, but when her father was speaking, he always had that regal parental tone that made her keep her guard up. Besides, she didn't feel like the meaning of the name fit her anyway. Silk? No, she wasn't made of silk by any means. "... Ko. Just call me Ko. It's nice to meet you two - Hikaru and Kaoru," she added. Her glance flicked between the two casually, trying to pick up any differences between them physically. Right now, after hearing their previous conversation with the other girls, she knew which one was which, but she wondered if she would when they were standing right next to each other.

Kaoru kept up the toothy grin, looking the newcomer over quickly before letting his gaze fall back onto her face. "It's nice to meet you too, Ko," he answered with a tone that bordered friendly and mischievous all at the same time. It was fairly well known among the other host club members, and probably some of the girls by now too, that Kaoru wasn't as mischievous as Hikaru was, but that didn't mean he wasn't devious at all. In fact, he had quite a bit of fun toying with people like he and his brother did in the old days when they were younger. And despite the fact that he generally portrayed himself as the more... submissive out of the two, he could still switch out of the teary eyed receiver in a blink of an eye, putting on a devilish grin that normally had the boss - Tamaki - shuddering. "Won't you sit with us?"

Tamaki was flirting with the ludicrous ladies when he overheard what Hunny and Mori said. Suddenly stopping what he was doing, he leaned in closer to hear them better. Though he was disappointed when their conversation came to a stop there, he began contemplating on what they were talking about. Who is the 'she they're talking about? They aren't talking about my daughter, Haruhi hanging out with those devil twins, are they?' Tamaki thought to himself. As quick as a protective father he turned his head towards Haruhi's table. He was immediately relieved when she was at her table like normal, and no twins in sight around her. Then did that mean that one of the members of the host club were also a girl in disguise? It sounded preposterous, but curiosity took over him. "Pardon me, ladies. I'm going to speak to my dear friend Kyoya for a second" he excused himself, and with a wink at the understanding females he walked over to Kyoya. When he reached his friend, and the 'mother' of their family, he went straight to the point. "Mommy, you don't think one of the other members are actually females too, do you?" Tamaki asked a serious question, but Kyoya couldn't help but be amused about it. "That is highly unlikely. According to all their records they are male". Assuring himself that Kyoya wouldn't lie to him he considered other possibilities, but then remembered Hunny's friend. Well, she was walking towards the twins' table, so it made sense. However, he didn't want their guest to be troubled because of the two either. He then thought back to what Hunny said and reconsidered his thoughts. Although it was almost laughable to think that someone wouldn't be deterred with the twins tricks. Nevertheless, once he decided it would be best to stop her she was already communicating with them. With a defeated sigh, Tamaki returned back to his table.

Kyoya stared questionably at Tamaki, noticing him trying to listen in onto Hunny's and Mori's conversation. Leave it up to Tamaki to always take notice whenever a member says something. Though even the shadow king was curious when he saw Tamaki walk over to him with a semi-serious expression on. In fact, it almost surprised him. Before he could as the blonde idiot what he wanted, the said idiot spoke first. Without much thought into his answer Kyoya said "That is highly unlikely. According to all their records they are male". After he answered and saw Tamaki's satisfied face he thought of what exactly could bring such an idea to Tamaki's mind. Surely he didn't actually think that possibly one of the other members, excluding Haruhi, were female? Even if it would bring more profit, Kyoya wouldn't allow it. Haruhi had only gotten to join because of the vase she broke. Although they didn't get every one of their members by breaking vases. Shifting his glasses once more, he decided not to try and understand his friend's mind and continued to approach some females and tell them about the host club merchandise.

Hikaru kept the toothy grin Kaoru harbored as well, though his speech varied from his twin brother's. For instance, whereas Kaoru spoke that it was nice to meet her, Hikaru avoided saying  that altogether and instead went along with the next words Kaoru said. Giving Kinuko a quick look over Hikaru scooted over so there was a spot between him and his brother. He patted the spot between them, a bit of a mischievous glint in his eyes as he did so.  "Come sit with us" he said as well. It didn't sound commanding, but he wasn't asking either. Yes, she looked like the perfect candidate. It was much easier to toy around with someone when they weren't fawning over you.

(( it's okay! and aah, I couldn't think of what to do with Honey and Mori, so I ended up just leaving them out of this post. we'll assume they're talking with the girls still~ ))

By now, Kaoru had all but forgotten about the other girls he and his brother had been speaking with. Though he had no ill-will against those other girls, they just weren't as much fun. Friendly conversations like that could only amuse a person for so long, not that he planned on making an enemy out of Kinuko. But, considering that she was Honey's friend, didn't react in the same way others might have reacted upon being introduced to a high school host club for the first time. From Kaoru's experience, people were either completely repelled by the idea of a host club in a school, finding it ridiculous and a waste of time, or they were thoroughly enthralled with it. Kaoru didn't really care much for the people who found it dumb - even though it honestly was - and brushed them off without another thought. It didn't matter to him that the host club really was kind of useless, just another way to kill time, but he didn't really care for the judgmental people who immediately cast condemnation on them either. As for those who found it enthralling, Kaoru found them worthy of attention. After all, it was the job of the twins to entertain their guests in the first place. Besides, doing so wasn't even that hard. Talking to the girls was generally quite easy, as the subjects were all rather simple and easy to keep up with. As if that wasn't enough, if he and Hikaru threw around some 'brotherly love', the girls went out of their minds with how kawaii it was. The hearts filled their eyes and it seemed their bodies seemed to wiggle back and forth without their consent. Basically, it was almost too easy. Ko didn't seem like she hated or loved the host club, more like she was just curious to watch, but not to join in just yet. This sort of detachment was perfect for the two twins who wanted to test out their new little toy. Had she been too disinterested, then it would have been too difficult to tease, but had she been absolutely in love, then any teasing would have gone right over her head. No, he liked how it was now: just right for relentless teasing and pranking - a favorite past time for the twins.

Kinuko hadn't been sure of her next move, or what she was supposed to do after introducing herself to the twins. Would she introduce herself and then leave? It sounded pretty lame to her, but she wasn't exactly sure how to approach any of these host club members in this atmosphere. Honey and Mori were different, but she'd down them for a while. Just going in up and talking to a host was a foreign concept to her, especially after seeing how the other girls acted. Was she supposed to act like that? She didn't think she could muster up such flamboyant energy as they had. Besides, she would feel weird if she just started acting like the other girls right off the bat.
So when Kaoru and then Hikaru invited her to sit with them, Ko nodded her head a little bit. The idea was a little bit uncomfortable, but she consented all the same. Walking over, Kinuko seated herself between the twins, her hands in her lap.

Kaoru grinned over Ko at his brother, the sort of grin that suggested their time of fun with the newcomer was about to begin. Throwing his arm around Ko's shoulders, Kaoru left room for his brother's arm should he choose to do the same.
"So tell us a bit about yourself, Kinuko," Kaoru prompted, staring at the girl like a wolf looks at a lamb - or perhaps like a cat at a mouse.

(That's okay, xD I was in a rush so this response is shorter than my usual ones. vov)

Haruhi laughed a bit hesitantly, rubbing the back of her head. A customer of her's had just made an attempt at a joke, and although the female host did not find it amusing she tried to laugh along with everyone else at that table. After the apparent laughing was over a female that was sitting at the end of the chairs across from Haruhi spoke. "You didn't have to force yourself to laugh, Haruhi. It's obvious you didn't find the joke funny." The one that produced the joke gave Haruhi a look, as if asking if that was true or not. "No, it was funny- honest" Haruhi tried to convince, mustering another laugh. She heard another girl assuring the one that made the joke that she was telling the truth. Letting out a relieved sigh, she turned to look back at the one that told her she didn't have to force herself to laugh. Though to her dismay and surprise, she was gone. 'She probably went to someone else.' Haruhi thought to herself. She turned back to the other females, answering a random question that was thrown at her from time to time. When Haruhi first started she had suspected that this would be the most tiring, boring job that she would ever do. Well, it was tiring and sometimes boring, but it wasn't that bad once you got used to it.

Hikaru watched as Kinuko made her way over to the spot between the two twins at sat down like he said.  He glanced over at his brother, noticing that he also forgot about the guests and had on a grin that the other knew as meaning the fun was about to begin. He grinned back and, knowing the guests probably wouldn't mind being ignored for a short moment, mimicked Kaoru- Swinging his arm around Kinuko's shoulder in the room he left him. "We're curious about you" Hikaru led off of his twin's sentence, He gave off a mischievous grin, awaiting her answer. Whatever it was, it probably wouldn't have any effect(?) on the overall reason they wanted to talk to her.

This issue with being asked to tell someone about yourself with no real inclination concerning what they actually wanted to know, is that Kinuko suddenly forgot every interesting fact about herself. What did they want to know about her specifically? Her hobbies? Her talents? How fast she can count to one hundred? She didn't know, which left her in a bit of a bind, though she decided to brush it off anyway. Normally, when other people wanted to know about 'her' they actually wanted to know about her family and the the businesses they owned - that's just how it was with rich people. But since this was a Host club, Ko really didn't see the two caring about the stocks and bonds of her family, nor the work going on with the departments stores and shopping malls. Actually, Ko herself didn't even know what was really going on, because she couldn't care less about the current state of the businesses owned and managed by her father.
Glancing between the two brothers, Kinuko returned their mischievous grins with a slight smirk of her own, arching an eyebrow questioningly. "What are your curious about, then?" She replied, again looking from one brother to the other. There was no point in her worrying about what they wanted to know, when they could just tell her themselves and save her the trouble of trying to think of something interesting.

Kaoru shrugged a shoulder, honestly not caring what she told them as long as it was something useful to them. "You're a first year, right? Are you in our class? And you're friends with Honey and Mori-senpai too?" He questioned, already knowing the answers, but glad that Kinuko verified it with a nod of her head. He wondered what her attachments to Honey and Mori were, or how they met that is. Probably some family business or whatever.

Kyoya carefully watched Kinuko after that. Not that he was trying to be nosy, but he wanted to make sure she didn't get an unpleasant greeting. Although he was aware that they were planning to use her for entertainment purposes. He pushed his glasses up his nose, standing close enough to their table to hear almost every word that they were saying. Even though it wasn not likely, it was possible romance could come from this. He wasn't going to make any guesses on with who, but he felt like her visiting would make a big change. Although it was just an estimate. Thinking that he pushed that thought out of his mind for now.

Hikaru watched Kinuko for a moment, curious as to what she could be thinking. Normally, he wouldn't be interested in other people's thoughts- especially someone they considered a toy- but for once it struck him as something he wanted to know. Although he wasn't intrigued enough to actually ask. Hikaru did a side glance at Kaoru, though quickly turned his attention back on Kinuko when she spoke again, asking what they were curious about. There were some things he was interested in knowing about her but nothing really struck him at that moment when she asked, so he stayed silent. Luckily enough Kaoru responded instead so he went along with it.
Almost as if he read his twin's mind the question the elder twin asked her was "How did you meet Hunny and Mori-senpai? Was it from a family business?" Hikaru leaned in slightly, attentive to what she was saying. He saw from the corner of his eye the guests looking slightly disappointed that they were giving all their attention to Kinuko instead of them, but at that moment he could care less. Besides, they also seemed a bit interested in the questions they were asking Hunny's friend.
