Apocalyptic Roleplay idea?

I had an idea run through my head about a group of teens ranging from 13-18 who were stranded in the forest after running for days on end from a virus that seems to turn humans into zombie-like cannibals. The virus when first taking over the host it makes the pupils not respond to light. This is how doctors first diagnosed them. The second stage slowly ate away at the brain, not psychically, but mentally. Until it would drive them mad. The final, and third stage, would make their skin a sickly white, their pupils now extended to take over their whole frontal eye- making the appearance that their eye is black. They lose control of their thoughts completely, only acting like wild animals when the smell of blood is in the air. Though they would seem slow, in fact they can move as fast as an average, fit human could run.

When the teenagers slowly start coming down with the disease, they know they aren't safe and must travel to Oklahoma to an abandoned lab where an antidote was created. Yet was never used- as the scientists died off to quickly. The antidote has the power to free many. Those who have only begun to have the disease, can be saved by spreading it through the air and water. Fr the antidote is pure gas- similar to Carbon Dioxide.

I know, I know. It sounds horrible. I just want to know if anyone would join this if I made it?
I would allow swearing and romance, though nothing too explicit since I'm not comfortable with extremely explicit stuff.
