Yeah, better with pencil. I draw with pencil and then take a picture and upload to my computer to start on the digital art part.

i'm an artist and have to say, i draw better digitally. at least as far as my coloring and everything goes. though my drawings traditionally always end up looking more advanced, i suppose. everything i draw is very anime-cartoon-y either way.

The only thing I can say is just keep practicing, use references frequently, study anatomy.

and i agree with the tutorials thing. that's how i learned. i'll be drawing for two years in december, and i haven't had an art class since elementary school. i feed off tutorials and speedpaints.

*paps loon* it's okay. i know the feel. i have the room furthest from the stairs so going down to get anything or when my mom calls me is a struggle. hhhh

I mean, it could also do with the fact that I'm just sitting in a towel since I just hopped out of the shower but...
well, actually, I have granola bars in my room so I mean, there's them. But they are so crummy.

I need to pick out a nice outfit though. I'm going to a dinner with my dad and people from his side of the family that I've never met. I'm actually a bit excited. :3

Whooaaa, has anyone heard of this website? It's awesome. They have a bunch of sound generators and you can adjust the levels so you hear what you want to hear at certain volumes and it's really relaxing. Buuuut, the whisper one is creepy.

Except, the last two times I ordered a cup of tea to go back to campus with from Teavana, I fucking got tea in my eye and then the next time, up my nose. I fucked up. Royally.

I should go dry my hair. I really should. But that takes forever. DX

I feel like we should have an art topic
bc I really enjoy drawing too (though my art sucks major dick)
and yeah
as for learning, practise is really what helped me
I've been drawing horses since I was little and I've improved now so I can say that they're at least semi-realistic? obvs everyone has their own style so it's not 100% hyperrealistic cx
