Fuck what they say, if you dont agree with it fight for your beliefs, who cares if your brave or not you have a moral obligation to stand up for what you like and stuff. And the quiet ones always have the biggest voice anyway!

I am back from seeing The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies and that post that I linked you to is literally me.
I fucking cried. I'm not okay. Don't touch me. I have no idea what to do with my life now. Don't get me wrong, the movie was fantastic and it ended perfectly but I just....ugh. That was it. It's over now.

I know. :c I haven't gotten a chance to watch any of my favorite Christmas movies because of finals... I haven't even been able to get excited for it yet. It's weird.

I feel you on that. I think finals ruined my mood for anything. But I normally am not excited for Christmas eve, I really only enjoy Christmas day..

I enjoy both, haha. My family does things kinda weirdly. On Christmas Eve, we open all of the present under the tree that are from family. Then, on Christmas day "Santa" comes, and I get more presents, haha. I like the way we do it, cause there's something both days to look forward to. And then, on Christmas Eve we usually go out to dinner to our favorite steak restaurant (we only go on special occasions, cause it's expensive) and then service at church. So yeah, hopefully I can get hyped soon!

Our family somewhat does that too. c: All immediate family comes on Christmas eve and we open their presents and so forth, then the next morning we open gifts we got each other in the household, then later go and eat lunch with immediate family once more. I hope I get excited aswell. ><

I've had two of three family parties already. I'm ready to just go sleep. I hate the days leading up to Christmas just because I work in retail and work is HELL right now. Plus the same 5 songs sung by 7 different artists played over and over again for eight hours. No thanks. It gets tiresome.

But I hear y'all. I love being with my family on Christmas. That's when the main family party is. :)

That sounds super fun! My immediate family is pretty small; just my parents and I. My uncle comes up for christmas every ear though, so that's fun. I have a bunch of aunts and uncles on my mom's side, but they all live up north, except for one. Usually on christmas, we go over to my best friend's, but this year her grandparents are coming. I understand, but it's kinda frustrating. Our families would always do stuff with each other on holidays, but not anymore. They left for Thanksgiving this year and Easter... Oh well, guess you can't be close friends with someone forever!

No, I guess not. I mean, that doesn't mean that you guys aren't friends anymore, right? Just because you haven't been doing holidays together?

I just had a friendship pretty much end recently, but it actually died long ago. She finally just told me that things were pretty much over. Claims she still wants to be friends but just doesn't want to talk so...like...really, what does that mean? I'm no longer going to try to keep this friendship going at the very least. I've been the only one trying for so long and I guess, in a way, it feels better not trying anymore. I know that my attempts will fail, so I can just give up on that.

Nah, it's just we rarely see each other anymore. She's always busy with swim team and school. I just get tired of making plans with her to see them get cancelled.

Man, that sucks Loon. :c I guess it's a relief like you said though? You don't need someone like that in your life. I always wonder why people grow apart. Interests and people change, I guess. Well, I hope you can feel better about that soon! <3

Mm that's understandable. That really sucks. :(
Really though, as someone once said when I made mention that the friendship I mentioned earlier wasn't going well (because she was ignoring my attempts to talk yet again), they said that a good friendship, things will pick off where they were no matter how long it's been, that if the other person cares, they will make the effort. Something to that effect.
Just keep trying a bit longer, I guess? I have zero ability to give advice on this situation.
